They see serious crimes ignored while resources are spent on cases that look more like political battles than public safety. When justice feels uneven, families lose trust, and New Yorkers deserve better than a system that plays favorites.
Ending Lawfare and Restoring Equal Justice
New Yorkers want fairness, accountability, and a justice system that protects people, not political agendas. That means stopping the political use of investigations and prosecutions, holding officials accountable for selective enforcement, and making sure the law applies the same to everyone no exceptions.
I will introduce legislation to restore fairness, transparency, and accountability including reforms to stop selective prosecution, create independent oversight for politically sensitive cases, and require prosecutors to focus on real crime instead of political battles. Equal justice must mean equal justice for everyone, and I’m committed to making that the law in New York.

I’ve taken responsibility for my life, my choices, and my service to this country, and I refuse to let anyone weaponize the justice system to silence me or anyone else. That experience only strengthened my resolve to fight for fairness, accountability, and the rights of every New Yorker who has been overlooked, mistreated, or steamrolled by a system that too often serves politics instead of people.

I’m not running to fall in line or to please insiders. I’m running because I refused to stay silent when the truth mattered, even when it came at a personal cost. I stood up when it would have been easier to sit down. I spoke out when it would have been safer to stay quiet. And I paid a price for it but I would do it again, because integrity has to mean something.
I’m asking for your support not because I’m perfect, but because I’m honest. Because I’ve lived the consequences of standing on principle. Because I know what it means to take a hit and keep moving forward. And because I will fight for you with that same resolve every single day.
