The Truth. The Issues. No Apologies

IT'S PETITION TIME!

I’m out petitioning because I want to earn my place on the ballot by meeting you directly not through insiders, not through political machines, but face‑to‑face, the way it should be.  I’m out petitioning because I want to earn my place on the ballot by meeting you directly not through insiders, not through political machines, but face‑to‑face, the way it should be. I’ll be knocking on doors all the way through November because I’m a people person at heart, and the best way to understand a community is to stand on its porches, walk its blocks, and talk to the people who live there.

I’m looking forward to seeing you, hearing what matters to your family, and asking for your signature so we can bring real representation back to Albany. Your voice matters, your concerns matter, and your signature is the first step in making sure you’re heard. Your confidence in voting for me matters just as much, and I’m grateful for every conversation and every chance to meet you in person.

New York’s future depends on strong schools that teach real, practical skills, protect parental rights, and prepare children not bureaucracies for success. This means restoring rigorous academics, expanding vocational and trade pathways as early as high school, and keeping classrooms focused on opportunity, economic mobility, and a genuine love of country rather than un‑American ideology.

End state and local laws that limit cooperation with federal authorities and restore a system that prioritizes public safety and community stability FIRST!.

HOLDING THE MTA ACCOUNTABLE

New Yorkers rely on the MTA every single day, yet the system has fallen into visible decline. Riders face crumbling infrastructure, unsafe platforms, unreliable service, and stations that look abandoned instead of maintained. The MTA continues to raise fares while delivering less, and taxpayers are left wondering where the money goes.

Infrastructure Failure

  • Aging tracks, leaking ceilings, broken elevators, and deteriorating platforms have become the norm.
  • Years of deferred maintenance and mismanagement have pushed the system to the brink.
  • Billions in funding have flowed through the agency with little transparency and even fewer results.

Safety and Security

  • Rider's report feeling unsafe on platforms, trains, and in stations.
  • Violent incidents, harassment, and disorder have eroded public confidence.
  • The MTA must be held responsible for protecting passengers, not just collecting fares.

Rehabilitation and Modernization

  • New York needs a full-scale rehabilitation plan for local stations, prioritizing structural repairs, lighting, accessibility, and cleanliness.
  • Investments must go toward actual improvements, not administrative bloat or political pet projects.
  • Modernization should focus on reliability, safety technology, and real-time accountability.

Accountability to Riders and Taxpayers

  • The MTA must provide transparent reporting on spending, timelines, and project outcomes.
  • Leadership must be held responsible for failures in safety, maintenance, and service delivery.
  • New Yorkers deserve a transit system that works, not excuses, delays, or endless fare hikes.

New Yorkers deserve trains that run, stations that are safe, and an MTA that answers to the people, not to itself.

ABOLISH LOCAL LAW 97

ABOLISH LOCAL LAW 97

Local Law 97 will impose heavy costs on building owners, renters, co‑ops, and Taxpayer's across New York.

Local Law 97 has steep fines if it is not adhered to, which will drive up housing costs, force expensive retrofits. This Tabled Law (currently off the table until after the elections) will place an enormous burden on taxpayers and sm

Local Law 97 has steep fines if it is not adhered to, which will drive up housing costs, force expensive retrofits. This Tabled Law (currently off the table until after the elections) will place an enormous burden on taxpayers and small property owners.

These mandates were rushed, unrealistic, and disconnected from the economic realities New Yorkers face.

We will:

  • STOP Local Law 97:  Legislate Endlessly to ensure it does not become law, which will end the costly building retrofit mandates that will ultimately raise rents, strain homeowners, and threaten affordability across the state.

IT'S PRIMARY TIME

Primary Day is approaching quickly, and this is the moment when your voice and your vote truly shape the future of our community. I’m asking you to stand with me, Philip Sean Grillo, because I’ve shown that I will stand up for the truth, fight for the issues that matter, and put the people of our district first. I
